This is my main bench right here in the house, so I don't spend too much time away from the
wife. Some of the equipment you see here won't be found in many other shops, such as a
laboratory grade HP 331 Distortion Analyzer, 4 channel Tektronix 2465 Oscilloscope, Sencore
SG165 AM - FM Analyzer, and especially a Transistor Curve Tracer which is used to precisely
match output transistors. My extensive arsenal of professional test equipment goes far, far
beyond the requirements of ANY manufacturer's repair and alignment procedures, thus
assuring top quality performance guaranteed to stay that way for the rest of your life!

The way it works:

1. Simply E-mail me with the make, model, year and description of the problem. In most
cases, I can give you a very accurate upfront flat rate to repair and restore your unit before
you send it in for repair. Only in very rare cases will I request more money after evaluating
your unit - this happens an average of two or three times per 100 customers.

2. If you like, you can print and fill out an information form to include with the unit

3. It is NOT necessary to send payment with your unit; however, it tends to save time and
generally results in my staying within the price I initially quoted. Once I've received a
payment from a customer, I try not to charge more for any unexpected additional work.
But if more work is required than anticipated, it will probably increase the turnaround time.

4. Typical turnaround is two to three months (worst case scenario). Generally, the older and
dirtier the unit, the longer it takes and the more it will cost to repair. Please bear in mind that
our work is guaranteed for LIFE and top notch repair quality on a 30 to 40 old unit will take
a lot of time, money and effort to fully restore to original, brand new factory performance.
After all repairs are completed, your unit will endure at least two weeks of intensive testing.

5. I regret that I DO NOT attempt to sell parts, belts or cosmetic items for car radios. My
focus is strictly on the repair work itself. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

6. My business is exclusively over the Internet and through shipping services. Under NO
circumstances do I accept walk-in business or make my phone number available. I could not
possibly perform the work at my level of quality if I had to constantly answer the phone.

7. In some cases, I can provide schematics, parts lists and board layouts for $20 per model.
Feel free to ask. I can also provide limited technical advice for a reasonable fee - not free!
